Architectural Overview
The brief was to design a contemporary 3-bedroom villa as an addition to the existing 5-star lodge. The lodge consists of separate units/chalets each with its own view of the Olifantsriver and surrounding wildlife, and another separate main culmination space with a lounge, dining, and bar area with a large patio and boma area for guests to enjoy. The vision was to create a tranquil balance between nature and built structure, where there are moments of connection and sacredness.
