Veld Architects found a great balance between my husband's minimalist, industrial type taste and my more homely, cosy desires for our home. For a long time, as we dreamed of one day building our own home, we kept a wish-list of requirements and to this day we marvel at how Gillian was able to include them all in our architectural plan.

In 2015 we approached Gillian Holl of Veld Architects to help us make our dream home become a reality. We had a clear vision and many reference images to help with the design process. The brief was to build a 500 square meter home that had simple clean lines. We wanted a spacious modern farmhouse style home that was humble but beautiful. That’s exactly what we got.

Veld Architects considered all the aspects of our requirements when designing our house. From the style and design elements to our budget requirements, everything was duly delivered on. Our house is the dream house that only existed in our heads before Veld Architects brought it to life. Veld Architects introduced us to some very unique ideas in the design stage, which have become amazing features in our house.
